[...] I’ve written about photo guest books before, but I thought I’d offer up a couple of other ideas that I’ve seen around the wedding circuit that are fun, and personal. A lot of the time people never look at their guest book again, so I love the idea of using a hardcover coffee table book and having your guests go wild with a Sharpe. Find a book related to your shared the theme, like this LOVE book via Polka Dot Bride, interests, or the location (like this one from Wedding Junkie.) Find a book you really enjoy, because you’ll want to visit it again and again. For those of you who are more DIY inclined, I adore the idea of a lyrical guestbook. I’ve made these for friends and clients alike, and, while time consuming, it’s a ton of fun. Basically, take 1 plain Kolo album (or blank album of your choice), color coordinated mini-lopes and cards, some spray adhesive and the lyrics to your intended first dance and voila! A guestbook that enables your guests to leave you well wishes and personal thoughts. [...]
