BlumeBox – a cost effective, eco-friendly solution to the wedding centerpiece!

I’m always excited when I find a super cool product — the BlumeBox fits this category to the “T”. What’s even better… or equally as fab is that this product is eco-friendly in addition to it’s colorful, simple and under $5-buck faboulousness!!!A BlumeBox is basically an alternative to the traditional glass vase. It comes shipped flat and basically pops into shape. It comes with a heavy weight plastic bag that you fit inside the box… you then fill it with water and then with your flowers.. gotta remove those thorns first though.

The creativity doesn’t stop at your arrangement… you can embellish the vase with photos, ribbon, custom labels, vase jewels, etc. It’s up to you and your amazing ideas, girl!

Hi Stacey! I just wanted to say that I love your blog (and I look at a lot of them!). My favorite so far was your entry on guest book ideas. Eagerly awaiting your next post (or are you too wrapped up in your own marital bliss?).

Even more eco-friendly would be to use actual plants, rather than cut flowers. It’s also less expensive. Consider a long “window box” – style container with plantings of your favorite flowers. Or group small pots (you can get terra cotta pots for less than $1 each at hardware stores) with plantings together and allow guests to take one with them. Unique, chic, cheap, and very kind to mother earth.

    Shine on.
